Ashley Tate is a graphic designer and illustrator from St. Louis, Missouri that enjoys sorting information in a visually appealing and intuitive fashion. In May 2009 she received a BFA in graphic design,
a minor in business and departmental honors from the University of Missouri. She believes that design should support the personality of the content and is an avid supporter of cross-browser compatibility.
Known under the pin name Scryren, her illustrations can be found on several internet galleries as she roams wherever the current art scene takes her and her fellow artists. With a traditional background in art, she prefers to mix what she’s learned with her love of anime to work in her own style.
In her spare time, Ashley likes to design Wordpress themes, Livejournal layouts and wakes up with crazy ideas that typically revolve around archiving any information that she possibly can. She also likes to build computers, play videos games and can lose an entire evening to reading Slashdot. As a science fiction fan, she is looking forward to the day when humans can truly immerse themselves in the web.
